Heather Maia

Heather Maia is a CPA with over 20 years of accounting, consulting, tax and CFO services.  She began her career with EisnerAmper, LLP working closely with family owned businesses in all capacities.  Heather served as CFO for a privately-owned business, creating and implementing internal controls, human resources, policies manuals and revenue growth.  These experiences culminated in the formation of Magellan Accounting & Consulting, LLC with colleague Larissa Scarangella.   Heather now works closely with her clients utilizing her wealth of experience to help them achieve growth and success.

Heather enjoys traveling to the Caribbean with her husband and two daughters.

Larissa Scarangella

Larissa Scarangella is a CPA with over 15 years of experience in helping closely held businesses navigate the challenges and rewards of being business owners. She started her career at Eisner Amper LLP in private business services assisting professional service businesses. After working for public accounting firms, she saw the opportunity to service clients better and founded her own accounting firm which ultimately became Magellan Accounting and Consulting with longtime colleague, Heather Maia. She specializes in medical and dental businesses and is passionate about helping businesses succeed and make smart decisions with their hard-earned money. 

In her free time, you can find her head in a book, on a bike ride or exploring nature with her husband and two kids.
